Hon. Colonial Secretary,

F. E. J. Bishop at different times was Manager of the Connaught House, Thomas's Grill Room and the Belle View Hotel. On 22nd February, 1909, he was admitted to the Matilda Hospital and was told by Dr. Sanders that he was dying. He refused to leave any message or to give the address of a relative. He died in the said Hospital on 25th February, 1909, of pneumonia. The deceased by his will left everything to Captain P. Meerles.

Letters of Administration with the will annexed were granted on 24th April, 1909.

10th August, 1909.

The estate was insolvent.
